Montreal Highland Games

In 2021, we managed the production of the 45th Annual Montreal Highland Games, livestreamed without a live audience due to pandemic restrictions. Profits from the event supported the Building Hope movement at the Douglas Hospital Foundation. Hosted by Kelly Alexander of Virgin Radio, the event featured Jason Banes setting a new Guinness world record for caber tosses in one hour.

Scratch Takes oversaw all technical aspects, including audio, video, lighting, and livestreaming. We ensured a smooth virtual broadcast, coordinating every element for a polished, professional presentation. Partnering with Dejero, we used their remote connectivity unit with bonded cellular technology to maintain a reliable wireless connection, enabling a seamless and uninterrupted livestream for audiences worldwide.
